| Tristan Barbarà creates Editions in the Eighties, to invite contemporary artists to work personally in its Workshop and continues one old tradition, the chalcography. And follow the lessons of Joan Barbarà, the Workshop founder in 1950, with well-taken care of limited Editions prints.
Recognized is the collection of 50 prints of Antoni Tàpies, Gaudi Series, the 96 engravings of Joan Miró. The engravings in great shape of 2 meters from Schumacher, Tàpies, Chillida, Plensa, Forteza, Croft, Laughed i Aragó. And the books of bibliophil with Aurora Garcia, Alberti, Brousse, Gimferrer, Brossa, Hugo, Goethe, Cortazar, Jorge Guillén, JV Foix, Oteiza.
The work created in this Workshop and also the Editions have received numerous prizes and has been exposed in Museums and Galerias around the world. An exhibition in tribute of more than 50 years of the Workshop and their Editions is, at the moment, being exposed in the main cities of Europe.
