Tristán Barbarà is a publisher of graphic works and artists' books with engravings since 1982.
He hosts the artists at his workshop, which was established in 1950 by Joan Barbarà. The artists create their works there, and they can count on the assistance of the publisher and his engraving team.
The traditional old techniques which are applied are adapted to the needs of modern times and to the artists.
Tristan Barbarà's works have been price-awarded in Leipzig, Libujana, Lugano, Praga and Barcelona.
In addition, his publishing works are mentioned in the collections of Joan Miró, Antoni Tàpies, Joseph Beuys, Antonio Saura, Emil Schumacher, Jorge Oteiza, Eduardo Chillida, Ráfols Casamada, Joan Barbarà, José Luis Cuevas, Jaume Plensa, Riera i Aragó, Michael Byron, Nishikawa, Rafa Forteza, Victor Mira, Pedro Croft, Georg Massanés, Joaquim Chancho, Francisco Tropa, Madeleine Dietz, Jorge Queiroz and a special collaboration from poets Joan Brossa and François Brousse.
